My first actual Touhou album! Every remix here takes huge inspiration from existing songs in one way or another (some are nearly complete copies!), hence the name. Why did I do such a thing? Primarily, I saw this as a learning experience-- and sure enough, I learned plenty of sound design trying to recreate many of the original sounds. Second, I lack skill in arrangement, and it is far easier to copy someone else :P. Lastly, and probably most honorably, I see this as a way of paying respect to my favorite music. While some of the original circles are disbanded, or some of the tracks never got popular, I hope my homage will allow their forgotten voices to be heard once again. Favorite: Crew 66
Technically the first album I released on Bandcamp. No touhou, all original videogame-style tracks. Really, these weren't made with an album in mind, rather as individual tracks so that I could practice my melody making. Favorite: not-clubman
